Some of the services of Mero Mobile
1) SMS to E-mail
It is a service where one can send message to near and dear ones, family and friends through text message where it relays SMS text message as e-mails. The SMS will be delivered to the receiver as email immediately with cheap charges for sending the SMS!

2) PRBT (Personal Ring Back Tone): This is one of the best services provided by Mero Mobile which allows a mobile user to pre-define-specific Ring Back Tone to be played back to callers.
The boring dull ring tone “tring tring” can be replaced by choosing a tune from a wide variety of categories from Nepali to Hindi, International hits, sentimental or devotional, filmy dialogues, funny, sad & serious tones and can make your friends listen to their favorite song every time they call you.

3) Mobile Internet [GPRS]
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is available with Mero Mobile. It’s a method of enhancing 2G (second generation) phones to enable them to send and receive data more rapidly. The phone is “always on” and can transfer data immediately at higher speeds (32-48 Kbps) with a GPRS connection. An additional benefit is that data can be transferred at the same time a voice call is made.

4) MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service)
It is also one of the important services provided by Mero Mobile and also the most recent development in mobile messaging. This service allows sending and receiving wireless messages that include images, audio and video clips, also immediately. MMS allows the transmission of up to 100 kilobytes of data.
Users can send MMS to any GPRS enabled mobile in Nepal. They can be viewed if they have MMS enabled phones. Subscribers can also e-mail these photos to any e-mail ID.

5) Missed Call Notification
This service informs the subscribers through an SMS; the number of calls missed during the time his/her Mero Mobile phone was switched off. The Missed Call Service (MCS) is the right option if you do not use Voicemail as it captures the caller ID of incoming calls when you are out of coverage/network or you are out of contact. It then sends you an SMS message to your mobile phone that includes the captured Caller ID, date and time of the missed call.
This service sends an SMS with missed call details; you can then immediately run a call, or wait for a more convenient time.

6) USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data)
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is a text based messaging service. It is different from SMS, because it is not a store & forward service; it is a session oriented service where the user gets a flash message.
Session oriented Service: USSD is simple and similar to voice calls as the user only need to dial a short code directly from the handset keypad to send a USSD command and open a USSD session. The user needs to dial the designated USSD number to access services through USSD. USSD numbers typically start with a '*' and end with "#". (e.g. *900#).

7) Voice Mail
Voice mail is a 24-hour universally accessible voice messaging service. It will answer your telephone calls and allow callers to leave messages when you are unable to take calls. Calls are diverted to Voice mail when the user is unavailable or has the phone switched off. The phone alerts and provides information to receive the message.

Note: To connect all the services except USSD, please readers log on the official website of Spice Nepal Pvt. Ltd. i.e. ( www.spicenepal.com) or dial 9005 from your Mero Mobile phone.
